When Ishita finished her postgraduate studies in 2019, she made her first try. In 2020 again she did her second try in which she qualified in the mains test and reached the interview round. And in the third try 2021, she obtained 8th place in the UPSC test.

IAS Ishita Rathi UPSC Preparation Tips

She claimed that because she studies best in the morning, she rises early. Importantly, she established goals for herself rather than studying while keeping an eye on the clock. The objectives were completed more quickly than she had anticipated on certain days, while it took more than 10 hours on others.

She gave the following advice when asked for last-minute test advice for UPSC applicants: Be confident, surround yourself with positive people, and be confident that you would pass the exam if you had properly studied.
