From May 2013 to July 2013, she did her summer apprenticeship at Satyendra Nath Bose National Centre of Basic Science in Kolkata. Later on, she did a job for 2 years in the private sector. Then, she thought of giving an attempt for the UPSC CSE exam. Before this, in the private sector, she did a job as Deputy Manager.
