Ganesh Kumar Bhaskar IAS Biography

29 years old UPSC topper Ganesh Kumar Bhaskar, has not only made his family proud but also become the star of his state. Ganesh Kumar Bhaskar IAS was born in 1993. He scored AIR 7, in the UPSC exam, in 2019. Hailing from Nagamalai Pudukottai in Madurai, Mr. Ganesh is now in Nagercoil.

He took Mathematics as his optional subject for the exams. This was his second attempt, and he shines with flying colours. His first attempt was in the year 2017 when he could only clear the Preliminary exam. After that, he thought that he would be one among the top 100, but he never imagined getting an All India Ranking of 7 in the UPSC CSE examination.

Ganesh’s father, Mr. SP Bhaskar has served as a Cabinet Secretariat in the Central Government. His mother’s information is unknown. IAS Ganesh is secretive about his private life thus so we should respect that. He completed his schooling at Kendra Vidyalaya, in Madurai, and in Gurugram. Because his father is a civil servant his posting in different states makes Ganesh travel to several Indian cities.

He wanted to be an Indian Foreign Service (IFS) Officer. After Passing out from IIM, he joined Cloud Management Company and was in the position of Product Manager at Bengaluru. But after 2 years, he left his job for the preparation of the UPSC exam.

After that, he did his graduation with a B. Tech degree from the Indian Institute of Technology at Kanpur in 2015. Then, he completes his MBA from the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad in 2017. After Passing out from IIM, he joined Cloud Management Company and was in the position of Product Manager at Bengaluru. But after 2 years, he left his job for the preparation of the UPSC exam.
