IAS Pradeep Singh UPSC Biography

Pradeep Singh comes from Tewari village in Sonipat, Haryana. The main inspiration in his journey of the UPSC preparation was his father who was the sarpanch of the village. 29-year-old Singh, this was his fourth attempt. And he was the Indian Revenue Services Officer when the results of the 2019 UPSC exam were announced, and his name was on top of the list. A total of 829 candidates were selected for various posts after the 2019 UPSC exam.

He did his schooling and graduated in Engineering in Computer Science. After graduation, he decided to attempt the UPSC CSC exam. He used to go to Delhi for the UPSC exam coaching and preparation.

For his further practice, his father sold his house and even their ancestral land and sent him to Delhi. His family sacrificed a lot for his future. Pradeep was very hard and dedicated to his preparation and appeared in UPSC 2018. He got All India Rank 260 in 2018 and became an IRS officer. 

His goal was to become an IAS officer, so he attempted the UPSC civil service exam again in 2019, secured The All-India Rank 1 and successfully became an IAS officer.

Mr. Sukhbeer Singh, the father of Pradeep Singh, is a retired sarpanch of Tewari Village in Ganaur of Sonipat district and his mother, Mrs. Sheela Devi, is a homemaker. He has an elder brother named Mr. Ajit Singh who completed his Mechanical Engineering and presently works in the insurance field. Pradeep also has a younger sister Manisha Singh who was pursuing post-graduation in Mathematics.
