Saumya Pandey IAS Current Posting
Saumya was originally appointed as an Asst. Magistrate at Siddarth Naga after joining IAS official, from the date April 27, 2018, to September 2019. And from September 24, 2019, to October 14, 2020, she also served as the Joint Magistrate in Ghaziabad.
She also had been appointed as the Chief Development Officer in Kanpur Dehat on 14 October 2020.
She had a stop in the middle of her services because she was pregnant. But it didn’t let affect her career and after her delivery, she came back to work with her infant daughter. Saumya has set an example for all women, that being pregnant doesn’t mean that women have to sit at home and rest, a woman can also focus on her career and make her dreams come true in any situation.
He was authorized as the Noble Officer for COVID-19 on July 2020 at Ghaziabad.

The UPSC strategy of Saumya says that when a candidate gives the UPSC exam, first of all in the UPSC Prelims they should take only those questions which you know very well. And she also started preparing for the English Comprehension just a few days before the exam. At the same time, for the GS Paper-I, her preparation was with only NCERT books from class 6 to class 12.
Saumya prepared for the Mains exam through the magazines like NCERT books, Yojna & Kurukshetra, The Hindu newspaper, and some standard books. Also, she prepared for History by reading the books by Bipin Chandra & Laxmikant for Indian Polity & Nitin Singhania for Indian Art & Culture. Apart from this, she used to practice essay writing on contemporary topics every 15-20 days.
