Vaishali Singh’s father and mother both are lawyers. So, her interest in the subject grows from them. She completed her schooling at DPS. After that, having a high interest in law, thus, for graduation, she pursued the famous National Law University in New Delhi, where she finished a five-year combined BA-LLB program.
Vaishali was a brilliant child, who received a monetary reward with six gold medals during her tenure at NLU. She got a superb 7.58 CGPA out of a possible eight when she graduated from NLU (2016). She got second place overall in her class.

Vaishali Singh UPSC Preparation Strategy
Vaishali Singh concentrates on NCERT books and limited sources for each topic in preparation for the exam.
Her advice is to read newspapers every day and also revise year-end collections of current events and government programs for the current affairs preparation.
Then, for both of her optional papers, she had chosen Law as her optional subject.
She believes that response writing is the most significant aspect of the mains exam. Also, taking the practice exams 25 to 27 times helps her in preparation for the UPSC exam. For the mains exam, she focuses on essay writing, and she read from the previous year’s toppers.
Her advice to the aspirants is that they should practice answer writing every day in preparation for the Prelims exam.
She also creates a list of ten to twelve subjects for the essay that she thought may be important for the exam. Also, she used to study for 9-12 hours regularly, but also, took breaks regularly for increasing focus and concentration. She also practices the previous yearās question papers and took several mock tests for both the Prelims and the Mains exam.
