Anubhav Singh is a native of Allahabad in Uttar Pradesh. His primary and middle education was finished in his village itself. After that in class 9th, he came to Allahabad city and finished his secondary education in Allahabad.

Also, he did his graduation in Civil Engineering from IIT Roorkee. He passed out in the 2015 batch. Officer started his UPSC preparation in the third year of his graduation also he has to work on his English as he was educated thoroughly in Hindi medium. Also, he joined an institute for having a discussion platform, but he was a silent observer there.

This was his second attempt at the CSE exam, and he secured AIR 8, in 2017. His optional subject was Mathematics as he has a great interest in the subject.
