Armstrong Pame Biography
IAS Armstrong was born on 23rd September 1984, in the state of Manipur, India. He is 38 years old now. He belongs to the Naga People’s Zeme Tribe. Armstrong Pame rank in the UPSC examination is AIR 439. His hobbies are travelling, singing, reading and writing. His height and weight are 168 cm and 70 kg respectively.

Armstrong is a motivational speaker who has appeared at TEDx, universities, and business events. Once he also was nominated for CNN-IBN Indian of the Year in the Public Service category. In 2015, he was also called the ‘hero’ of the 9th episode of the talk show Aaj Ki Raat Hai Zindagi (AKRHZ) by host Amitabh Bachchan, his favourite actor.

Armstrong Pame IAS officer and a native of Manipur’s Tamenglong district was born in a Christian family of the Zeliangrong caste. His father’s name is Haitung Pame and his mother’s name is Ningwangle Pame. He has a brother named Jeremiah Pame and two sisters named Pourei Pame and Ramning Pame.
Armstrong Pame IAS wife’s name is Yini Evelyn. They got married on 16 December 2017.
Armstrong Pame the “Miracle Man”
Armstrong Pame is known as the “Miracle Man” for building the “Peoples’ Road,” a 100-kilometre road that links Manipur to Nagaland and Assam. He began all of this when chronic diseases such as Typhoid and Malaria began to spread in a hamlet and no one had easy access to hospitals in town because roads were not connected.
The road was built with public funds as well as money contributed via social media, and no government support was involved. He also borrowed money from members of his relatives. Armstrong’s older brother and sister-in-law donated their first-month salaries, his mother donated his father’s one-month pension, his younger brother donated his first-month salary, and he donated his own five-month salary. He raised around Rs. 40 lacs for this through its Facebook page in 2012. He was called to the Facebook headquarters and honoured for his efforts in building the road with donations and volunteers.
In 2015, he received India’s Most Eminent IAS Official Award.
Armstrong Pame Education
In Tamenglong, IAS Armstrong attended Lovely Lamb Academy, Christian Grammar School, and United Builders School until the 10th grade. He finished his 11th and 12th grades at St. Edmund’s College in Shillong. Armstrong was ranked seventh in the All India Level Entrance Test for the Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) in 2005. He did, however, complete his Three Year Degree Course (TDC) until graduation in Physics from St. Stephen’s College in Delhi. He was the finest debater during his college days, both at the university and national levels, receiving up to 25 certificates for his efforts.
In 2007, he took the Civil Services Examination for the first time and was hired by the Indian Revenue Service (IRS) in the Customs and Central Excise branch. But in 2009, he appeared for the Civil Services Examination (CSE) for the second time and this time, he was selected for the Indian Administrative Service (IAS). In his second attempt, Armstrong Pame UPSC marks were a total of 1186.

Armstrong Pame IAS Preparation Strategy
Armstrong was a hardworking pupil who was also intelligent. Recognizing that he came from a poor family in an isolated village, he was determined to study diligently and excel in life by overcoming any obstacles that might arise. He was moved to tears thinking of his people, who survive from hand to mouth, carrying their daily necessities on their backs and climbing high mountains every day except Sunday for sustenance. Armstrong is a godly young man who values elders and instructors. He was also presented with two certificates: one for being the Best Student of the Year in 2005 and another for being the Best Participant in the College’s Church.
Armstrong stated that he would like to inspire everyone to do their best in whatever they do, life should be lived to the utmost. As life is lived beyond me, I, and myself, life should be enjoyed rather than just survived.
