Shashank Gupta is the name of Shubhra Saxena IAS husband. In an interview, she stated that her husband was her “greatest supporter” during her four-year preparation for the Civil Services Exam. He works in Noida.

They married in June 2003 and have a nine-year-old daughter as a result of their union. Her ex-husband allegedly tortured her physically and mentally, and they split in July 2020. Shubhra Saxena dedicated her heart and everything to her studies, studying for an average of eight hours each day and 10-12 hours during exams. She said it was fairly simple to pass the exam if a person knows the concept and believes in themselves. She also left her job at the MNC, Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC) after four years to prepare for the UPSC exam.

“It is crucial to have conceptual clarity,” she says of her preparation plan for the preliminary and major examinations. As a result, students should first prepare for the mains and then focus on the preliminary tests for the last three to four months. Her ex-husband, Shashank Gupta was her “greatest supporter” during her four-year preparation for the Civil Services Exam.

She advised candidates to put forth equal effort and to be patient and diligent. They should also learn to treat the UPSC exam like any other exam. She also stated that one should never write notes during the first reading. Should go for taking notes in the second or third read. This is a critical procedure.
